Background:
Under the strong desire to satisfy their great energy appetite, Asia-Pacific countries divert their interest to the ocean despite the higher risks. The pace of activity in offshore oil and gas E&P sector matches an increase in Geo Physical Prospecting activities. Seismic activity in the Asia-Pacific region shows work under way everywhere. As technology progresses, new demands are placed on the vessels and on the processing side as well.
Objective:
The objective of this workshop is to present unique views from geophysical services providers regarding the latest technology developments as well as opportunities and challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. Cooperating closer with oil companies and other services companies like vessel providers will be addressed.
